Nevermind The Words

It’s a beautiful day…

The sun is shining, the clouds are nowhere to be found.

Yet why can’t I hear the music?

The air is clear, everyone’s hearts around me are open,

So why aren’t I feeling the same beat?

I wait, hoping it’ll all connect

and think, “Will I be the only one?”

Then out of the silent gray I hear your voice

Teaching me how to dispel my disillusions

so that I can finally learn to breathe.

Thanks to you I can now live with my heart,

and the stars in the sky are finally shining.
